Chilli Beef Burger and Coleslaw
Beef burgers are an all year round favourite in our house and with this easy to make recipe you will know exactly what is in yours. The chilli adds a little more to the flavour but you could always add more if you want it hotter.

Cooking Time: 20 minutes
What you need:
Burger
500g Beef Mince
1 Clove of Garlic
1 Chilli
1 tsp Ground Cumin
1 tsp Sweet Smoked Paprika
1 tbsp Tomato Sauce
Pinch of Salt and Pepper
2 tbsp Fresh Bread Crumbs
1 Egg
Coleslaw
1 White Onion
1/2 Red Cabbage
1-2 Carrots
2-3 tbsp Mayonnaise
1/2 tsp Ground Black Pepper
What you need:
Burger
500g Beef Mince
1 Clove of Garlic
1 Chilli
1 tsp Ground Cumin

2 tbsp Fresh Bread Crumbs
1 Egg
Coleslaw
1 White Onion
1/2 Red Cabbage
1-2 Carrots
2-3 tbsp Mayonnaise
1/2 tsp Ground Black Pepper
- Crush the garlic, deseed and chop the chilli and beat the egg, add to a bowl with all the ingredients for the burger.
- Mix well then split into 5 tight balls and then flatten until it is about 1.5-2 cm high.
- Place under a low heat grill or in a griddle pan on a low heat, keep turning every 5 minutes for 20 minutes.
- Meanwhile chop 1 white onion, half a red cabbage and put into a bowl.
- Grate 1-2 carrots add to the bowl and mix in 2-3 tbsp of mayonnaise and 1/2 tsp of ground black pepper.
- Set to one side until the burger is cooked.
- Once the burgers are cooked lightly toast the bread buns, plate up and enjoy.
